Ashley & Ethan’s Intimate Family Home Wedding

Ashley and Ethan’s wedding was one of those days that meant a little more to me personally.

Ashley has been a friend of mine since I was a little girl, so getting to photograph her wedding and be there for such an important day in her life felt incredibly special.

Their wedding took place at a family home in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by the people who have loved and supported them through so many different seasons of life.

A Wedding That Felt Like Home

There’s something really beautiful about getting married at a family home.

Instead of stepping into a completely unfamiliar venue, the day already feels full of history and memories. Every room, every little corner of the property, and every person there adds another layer of meaning to the celebration.

Ashley and Ethan’s wedding had that kind of warmth from the very beginning.

It felt relaxed, personal, and centered around what mattered most — the two of them and the family and friends there to celebrate alongside them.

A Full-Circle Moment

Photographing Ashley on her wedding day was such a full-circle moment for me.

I’ve known her since we were little, and getting to see her step into this new chapter of life with Ethan was something I was genuinely so happy to be part of.

There are weddings I remember because of a beautiful venue or an incredible detail, and then there are weddings I remember because of the people.

This one was definitely about the people.

So Much Family Love

One of the things that stood out most throughout the day was just how much love surrounded Ashley and Ethan.

There were hugs, laughter, emotional moments, and so many little interactions happening between family members that made the day feel incredibly genuine.

Those are always some of my favorite things to photograph because they can’t really be planned.

They’re the moments that happen in between everything else — the look from a parent, a friend making someone laugh, or family gathering together after the ceremony.

Ashley and Ethan’s wedding was intimate, heartfelt, and full of the kind of love that makes a wedding day feel completely unforgettable.
