Mei & Cade’s Wedding in Buffalo, Texas


A Beautiful Family Property

There is something really special about getting married somewhere that already means something to the family.

The groom’s parents’ home had such a beautiful view, and the property gave us so many natural places to photograph without needing anything overly styled or complicated.

It felt comfortable, personal, and completely connected to who they are.

And because Buffalo is so close to home for me, this wedding was especially enjoyable to photograph. I love getting to work at beautiful places right here in my own part of Texas.

The Light Was Incredible

We had some of the prettiest light that day.

The soft November sun gave everything such a warm, romantic feel and made the portraits look effortless. Those are the kinds of evenings photographers hope for — beautiful skies, soft light, and enough time to slow down and really enjoy the portraits.

Mei and Cade looked so natural together, and the setting made it easy to create photographs that felt relaxed and timeless.

A Day That Felt Like Them

What I loved most about this wedding was how personal it felt.

It wasn’t about making the day look like anyone else’s wedding. It was about being surrounded by family, celebrating somewhere meaningful, and enjoying a beautiful day together.

Those are often the weddings that end up feeling the most memorable.

Mei and Cade’s day was warm, intimate, beautifully lit, and full of the kind of moments that make me love photographing weddings close to home.
