The Gonzalez Wedding in Centerville, Texas

Some of the most beautiful weddings aren’t held at traditional venues at all.

The Gonzalez wedding took place on family property right here in Centerville, Texas, and the entire day felt incredibly personal from beginning to end.

There were details everywhere that made the space feel completely their own — from the hanging wisteria to one of the prettiest book walls, all surrounded by the people who mattered most to them.

So Many Beautiful Details

The hanging wisteria added such a romantic feel to the day. It softened the space and gave everything this dreamy, almost garden-inspired look that photographed beautifully.

And then there was the book wall.

It was such a unique detail and one of those things that immediately gave the wedding personality. I love when couples create spaces that feel like them instead of trying to make their day look like every other wedding.

The bride’s lace dress was another favorite of mine. It was timeless, detailed, and absolutely beautiful in photographs.

A Wedding With Personality

What I loved most about this day was how comfortable and joyful everyone felt.

There were the sweet moments, the beautiful portraits, and all the little details you expect from a wedding — but once the dancing started, everyone was ready to have a good time.

And there were definitely some dance moves worth photographing.

Those reception photos are always some of my favorites because no one is thinking about the camera anymore. Everyone is laughing, moving, and completely caught up in celebrating.

That’s when some of the best candid photographs happen.

A Celebration Close to Home

I always love getting to photograph weddings here in Centerville.

There’s something special about documenting people in places that already mean something to their families, and a wedding on family property has a feeling that’s hard to recreate anywhere else.

The Gonzalez wedding was romantic, personal, full of laughter, and completely theirs.

Exactly the way a wedding should be.
