Roxanne & Jonathan’s Wedding at Pecan Springs Ranch

Roxanne and Jonathan’s wedding in Austin, Texas had the perfect mix of tradition, beautiful scenery, and a whole lot of celebrating.

Their day began with a beautiful church ceremony surrounded by the people who mattered most to them. There’s something I always love about church ceremonies — the quiet moments before everything begins, the emotion during the vows, and that feeling when the couple finally walks back down the aisle together as husband and wife.

From there, everyone headed to Pecan Springs Ranch to keep the celebration going.

A Beautiful Austin Setting

Pecan Springs Ranch was such a beautiful backdrop for their reception.

The greenery and vines around the property gave us so many pretty places for portraits while still keeping everything feeling natural and relaxed. I love venues where you can walk a few steps and find an entirely different little corner to photograph in, and this was definitely one of those places.

Roxanne and Jonathan looked completely at home together, which made photographing them feel easy.

Surrounded by Family & Friends

One of the things that stood out most about this wedding was just how much love surrounded them.

Their friends and family were there to celebrate fully — laughing, visiting, cheering them on, and eventually filling the dance floor.

Those are some of my favorite parts of any wedding day because everyone finally lets go of the timeline and just enjoys being together.

And Then Everyone Started Dancing

Once the reception really got going, the dance floor stayed busy.

There were plenty of laughs, big dance moves, and those wonderfully unplanned moments that make reception photos so much fun to look back on.

The portraits are beautiful, but these are often the photographs that bring the whole night back — the people you love dancing beside you, your friends losing it to a favorite song, and everyone celebrating in one place.

Roxanne and Jonathan’s day was warm, joyful, timeless, and full of love from beginning to end.
